A new initiative for 2024 saw the launch of the Berwick Writers Forum, a sort of umbrella to provide events, information, social opportunities and mentoring to the wide range of writers, some well-established and well-known, and many more just getting going on their writing careers, who live in and around Berwick-upon-Tweed.
We will facilitate encounters with supporting organisations, such as The Society of Authors, The Scottish Association of Writers, New Writing North etc, and will provide a regular opportunity in the annual Literary Festival programme for the Forum to plan an event or events.
