Wilson’s Tales: Intoxicating Tales

A celebration of the anniversary of the first edition of “Wilsons tales of the Borders”, Berwick’s own 19th century international best seller.

To include a brief introduction to the tales, particularly those involving Booze as well as selected highlights from the 7th revival edition. Two tales will also be told in full by a professional storyteller as well as the short-listed winners of the Wilson’s Tales project 100 word competition. You will be invited to raise your glass to toast Wilson to celebrate the poet, writer, political commentator, playwright, editor and publisher. An event presented by members of the Wilson’s Tales project with support from Stuart McHardy a storyteller, writer and lecturer on Scottish history and folklore.
