The aubade is traditionally a love poem or song that celebrates or laments the arrival of dawn. The form offers rich scope for experiment and innovation. Utilizing the morning as a time of energy and imagination, we’ll create fresh aubades of our own, whether about farewells and beginnings, or breakfast and birdsong. The workshop includes a break for personal writing.
