Bea Davenport: Writing about the Past – A Creative Writing Workshop

There’s been a recent resurgence in interest in writing and reading about the long or more recent past. Whether you want to write historical fiction, biography or even memoir, join this online session to try out a range of useful creative writing techniques with author Bea Davenport. The workshop will include a break for personal writing.

Bea Davenport is the writing name of Journalist Dr. Barbara Henderson. Her adult crime/suspense novels, In Too Deep and This Little Piggy, are published in paperback by Legend Press. Her first children’s novel, The Serpent House, which was written as part of the Creative Writing PhD at Newcastle University, is published by Curious Fox. Bea’s second children’s novel, My Cousin Faustina, is published by Readzone and her latest young adult’s novel, The Misper, was published on 1st March, 2018 by Conrad Press.
